DIFFUSERS AND THEIR USES

CHOOSE A DIFFUSER

PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION.

● Make sure the camera flash is turned off.
● Clean the surface of the flash and diffuser from dust to ensure a secure attachment.

DIFFUSER INSTALLATION.

● If the nozzle is attached directly, place it on the flash head. It should fit snugly but not interfere with the rotation of the head.

FLASH SETTINGS

● Turn on the flash.
● Adjust the angle of the flash head.
● Adjust the flash power. Note that the diffuser reduces the brightness of the light, so you may need to increase the power.

POSITIONING AND SHOOTING

● Aim the flash with the diffuser at the subject. If necessary, use reflectors or change the angle of the flash for more even lighting.
● Experiment with flash power and camera exposure settings to achieve the desired result.

REMOVING AND STORAGE OF THE DIFFUSER

● Turn off the flash.● Carefully remove the diffuser to avoid damaging the mount.● Clean the diffuser from dust and dirt and store it in its protective case.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

● Use diffusers to create soft and natural lighting.
● If your flash is in TTL mode, make sure your camera is correctly metering the exposure through the diffuser.
● For portraits, point the diffuser slightly up or to the side to get natural light.
● It is important to check the instructions for your flash to make sure the diffusers are compatible.
